A qualified Textile Post Diploma Graduate and Ex.M D of a Textile Mill.

Painting is stress free, worry free, tension tree.

To me painting is not a hobby but a passion and relaxation to myself fully in perfect silence, this is what I call peace with oneself externally. My mind is at walking speed and thinks what to think leaving me freedom from thinking.Stress is only on my attention to perfect color mixing, worry is how to get perfect color I need and tension is when will I finish my painting and will look nice to me first my wife and grown up children.I started painting when a big cotton canvas was to be replaced in a machine in the textile mill where I was Manger and in charge of mill operations. The canvas was in good shape but had to be replaced as it had extended its working life and any delay would result in a break down when it was not required. On one of the holidays which is national like Independence day the mill had to be stopped otherwise we were working non stop 24x7 on all days in a year. The people who operated the machine were frequently asked if they had noticed any thing abnormal in the machine and basing on their feed back maintenance was programmed. The canvas was sent to bleaching department and it back looking quite nice. The best part was 90 inches by length and 40 inches wide.i made it in to two parts and called the carpenter and told him frame it with a wood frame. The next thing was I noticed the famous ' Camalin ' paint shop while taking a walk in Bombay now called as Mumbai.I went inside and purchased all the paint they had that I needed.I was having some knowledge as it was in our syllabus in textile manufacture.I came home from Bombay and made a stand to keep the heavy frame with canvas like you see the painters do painting with their empty canvas kept on the stand. The next question was to start the painting and how to go about it I had no idea. The only way was to go to a book store and search for a book on painting.Opportunity was knocking on my door when I had to again go to Bombay and this time I went to a book store in ' Flora Fountain ' a place near Victoria terminal the main Railway terminal of Bombay.I saw the book I needed which was titled ' Abstract Painting ' I purchased the book and felt very happy that I will now do painting in my after work and pre dinner time.On one day I started right from the first picture I saw in the book which I liked and did rough pencil sketches. After doing a part of the picture in pencil I started filling color as I saw in the book the picture I liked. My requirements already purchased helped me in carrying on my painting.Later on I started doing as the book said and with my imagination went on doing one after another and it was over 10 years I had nearly 60 paintings when I had to stop due to circumstances beyond my control. Here is one painting which I made in to several paintings.

There are several pictures from one painting only, why this is done you will know later.

First let us start the work.

We need several small bottles of several colors.Count the number of colors from the pictures above.

Buy small bottles of the color Acrylic color say 10 colors.

Buy No.1,2 & 3 ten brushes in each size.

Buy any size several cards of white, black, yellow, green and red colors.

Set up your Painting Studio - Private - NO ADMISSION board put it up.

You would have purchased also a stand and Picture Frame to the size of your Card Purchased.

Take print out of any of the above picture or all the pictures.

Select one of the pictures.

Do not Start painting but draw lines lightly from a HB # 1 pencil lines to resemble lines where say Red Color is found on the picture or any other which is prominent in the picture.

Now take the Red / or other Paint and paint only Red / other in different shades by mixing one color after another and keep the brush clean or change the brushes when ever you change the color..

Follow it up similarly for all colors till the picture is completed.do not mix one color brush with other s soon as that color is over dip it in a glass of water and get separate glass for next color.

Keep the entire operation a secret and do not tell any one how you did the painting let people know you have some good hobby you are not telling any thing untrue..

Show the Painting first to your wife and if he is pleased you will be happy and you can show it to others.

Lock up your self in your Painting Operations.when ever you are under STRESS Once you are addicted to it your STRESS disappears.

Become addicted to Painting get your STRESS DETOXED.

After 25 Paintings.

Once you finished your painting get it re-framed by a very classic good looking frame which you will see in "STAPLES" make sure it is the costliest frame available as this is your first painting to your future in painting. Not seen by any body helps in the interest of your surprise that you will give to your friends.Having done this and getting thus far all you have to do is give a name to the picture. Here it is difficult for you but not at all when it is done in a group.Call dozen friends for Tea in your place and tell them you are going to exhibit your painting and they must come for a Tea and give a name in secret in writing on a piece of paper after seeing your painting not mentioning their name.to your painting the group will give several names take down these names on a white board and give them serial numbers.Keep all this and now tell your friends that Tea is minutes away and they should help you in selecting the most appropriate name for this picture. You will then read out the Names your friends have given from the white board over which you will write the names handed over to you by your friends.Tell your friends to give a number from 1 to 10,Select the painting which has the maximum numbers.Thank your friends and NOW have Tea.Make it ' High Tea '. .
